Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Agreement”) govern the rental of the trailer (“RV,” “unit,” or “vehicle”) from the Owner (“Owner,” “we,” “us”) to the Renter (“Renter,” “you,” “your”). By booking and/or operating the RV, you agree to the following terms:

1. Definitions
-
Owner: The legal owner of the RV, offering it for rent.
-
Renter: The individual(s) entering this agreement to rent and operate the RV.
-
Authorized Driver(s): Only individuals expressly approved in writing by the Owner before the rental begins.
-
Rental Period: The period beginning at the time of key handover and walkthrough, and ending once the RV is inspected and returned to the Owner.
-
Security Deposit: A refundable deposit held against damages, fines, cleaning fees, late returns, or other charges.

2. Eligibility & Verification
-
Renters must be 25 years or older with a valid, unrestricted driver’s licence recognized in Ontario.
-
Renters must provide government-issued photo ID, proof of current address, and proof of driving privileges.
-
Renters with any of the following in the past 5 years may be ineligible:
-
DUI or impaired driving conviction
-
Licence suspension
-
Major traffic violation (excessive speeding, reckless driving, etc.)
-
-
All drivers must be declared, verified, and approved by the Owner prior to rental. No undeclared drivers may operate the RV.

3. Onboarding & Condition Reporting
-
A mandatory walkthrough inspection will be conducted at pickup, documenting the RV’s condition (photos, videos, and signed checklist).
-
The Renter must confirm completion of the walkthrough before departure.
-
A similar inspection will occur upon return. Owner’s inspection results will be final unless clear evidence proves otherwise.

4. Insurance & Liability
-
Renters must provide proof of valid auto insurance that covers towing and RV use in Ontario.
-
If a protection package is purchased through the Owner, it is secondary coverage only; the Renter’s personal insurance remains primary.
-
Renters are fully liable for:
-
Collision, theft, vandalism, or weather-related damage
-
Tire blowouts, glass damage, undercarriage damage, and roof damage
-
Any personal property left in the RV
-
Parking fines, traffic tickets, tolls, or towing fees during the rental period
-
-
Failure to follow terms (e.g., unauthorized driver, prohibited use) voids all protection and makes Renter liable for full replacement value of the RV.

5. Security Deposit & Damage Responsibility
-
A refundable security deposit (amount set at booking) is due before pickup.
-
The deposit may be withheld, in full or in part, for:
-
Damage (interior or exterior)
-
Cleaning beyond normal wear (e.g., smoking, pet hair, spills, odours)
-
Late returns ($XX per hour after agreed time)
-
Lost, broken, or missing equipment
-
Unauthorized mileage or location violations
-
Failure to empty tanks or return RV in agreed condition
-
-
If damages exceed the deposit, the Renter remains fully responsible.

6. Prohibited Uses
The RV may not be used for:
-
Smoking, vaping, or drug use inside the unit
-
Unauthorized pets (unless pre-approved in writing)
-
Festivals, concerts, or large events without prior consent
-
Off-road use, unpaved roads, or hazardous terrain

-
Towing other vehicles or trailers without approval
-
Use by anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol
-
Carrying more passengers than there are seatbelts
-
Subletting or allowing unapproved drivers to operate the RV
Violation of this section voids all coverage and renders Renter liable for full damages and costs.

7. Roadside Assistance & Emergencies
-
Optional roadside assistance may be available through the Owner or third-party.
-
Without coverage, all roadside expenses (towing, lockouts, tire service, lodging, etc.) are the Renter’s responsibility.
-
In the event of an accident, theft, or major damage, the Renter must:
-
Notify local law enforcement immediately
-
Inform the Owner within 24 hours
-
Provide full written details, including police reports and photos
-

No refunds will be given for early returns, late arrivals, or unused days.

9. Liability, Indemnification & Hold Harmless
-
The Renter assumes all risk of injury, loss, or damage during the rental period, including while towing or parked.
-
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any and all claims, suits, damages, fines, or expenses arising from use of the RV.
-
This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Third-party injury or property damage
-
Traffic fines, parking tickets, or toll charges
-
Vehicle impound or repossession costs
-
-
The Owner’s liability, under any circumstance, will not exceed the total rental fee paid.

10. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
-
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
-
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, with jurisdiction in the county where the Owner resides.
-
If the claim qualifies, disputes shall be filed in Ontario Small Claims Court.
-
Renter agrees not to initiate legal action outside Ontario.

11. Communications & Privacy

The Owner may send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates via SMS or email.
-
The Renter consents to the Owner collecting and storing personal information as required for booking, safety, insurance, and legal compliance.
-
Personal data may be shared with third-party service providers (e.g., insurance, roadside assistance) but will not be sold.
-
The Owner will handle all personal information in compliance with Canada’s PIPEDA privacy laws.

12. Owner’s Rights
